Dr. Bi A. Tadzong-Fomundam

Bi A. Tadzong-Fomundam MD, MPH, is a Board-Certified Preventive Medicine Physician currently practicing as a Locum Tenens in South Carolina.  She was born and raised in Cameroon; migrated to the United States in 1995.  She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from University of Maryland at College Park in 1999. She earned her Medical Degree from Pennsylvania State Milton S. Hershey College of Medicine in 2005.

She spent three years doing clinical research at Washington Hospital Center before proceeding to complete an Intern Year at New York-Presbyterian Queens.  She completed her residency in General Preventive Medicine and a Masters in Public Health at State University of New York in Buffalo in 2013.  She has been practicing in various capacities in South Carolina and Indiana, with experiences in HIV care, primary care, house calls, and urgent care.

 

She is passionate about Lifestyle Medicine and coaching.  She is a Christian who firmly believes that life works best on God’s principles.  Most of life’s problems stem from mankind’s unwillingness to cooperate with these principles, and a fundamental misunderstanding of the gifts of freedom and choice.  Lifestyle Medicine provides a sustainable and optimal pathway to good health and vitality, using the basic principles of life.

She has multiple interests in life, and refuses to settle for anything beyond excellence. She embraces every opportunity to add value to the lives of others.

She is a co-author of Beyond Challenges, the riveting life stories of fifteen African Immigrant Physicians.

She is married with three children.
