Dr. Nina Lum

CONTACT DR. NINA LUM:

                               

Dr. Nina Lum is a Hospitalist and Chief Quality Officer at a community hospital in Kentucky. She is board certified in Family Medicine. Dr. Lum was born in Cameroon, Africa; but in 2012 she graduated from The University of Saint Eustatius School of Medicine in the Netherlands Antilles. She completed a residency at University of Kentucky Rural Track/St. Claire Family Medicine where she graduated as Chief Resident in 2015.

 Dr. Lum is a contributing author of the best selling medical anthology “The Chronicles of Women in White Coats”. As a physician coach she blogs at  www.theencouragingdoc.com where she writes and coaches international medical students & graduates (IMGs) on success blueprints for their unique pathway. She is  the creator & educator of the online course-coaching platform for IMG’s known as imgroadmap.com.  She is a health & wellness speaker and newspaper columnist for Sentinel Echo who has been featured on WLEX & Fox 56.

Dr. Lum is also an avid medical missionary and has worked with teams in Haiti & Cameroon. She loves photography, entrepreneurship, travel, blogging and reading on self improvement. She and is  the co-leader of this book; Beyond Challenges.
