Dr. Clarisse Tallah

CONTACT DR. CLARISSE TALLAH:

                  

Clarisse Tallah MD, was born and raised in Yaounde, capital of Cameroon, Africa and immigrated to the United States in 2006. She later on completed an undergraduate Biomedical Engineering degree from Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta, Georgia. Dr. Tallah graduated cum laude from Saint George’s University School of Medicine, St. George’s Grenada through the Keith B. Taylor Global Scholars Program based in Northumbria University, New Castle Upon Tyne, United Kingdom.

Dr. Tallah trained at the family medicine residency program in New York University Langone Brooklyn during which she received a recognition for scholarly activity. She is the co-author of 4 research articles and contributed an article in the New York State Family Physician.

She is currently pursuing a maternity care fellowship at the Landmark Medical Center, Woonsocket, Rhode Island while also pursuing a Master’s degree in public health from Brown University, Providence, Rhode Island. She hopes to join the fight in decreasing the ever growing maternal mortality related to child birth.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Tallah is a prolific Salsa dancer with occasional indulgence in Tango and Hustle. She also enjoys traveling the world to experience different cultures.
