Dr. Maureen Muke

DR. MAUREEN MUKE:

       

Maureen Muke, MD is a Board Certified Internist and Department Chair of Medicine at Mercy One in North Iowa, Mason City.  Born and raised in Cameroon, Dr. Muke earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology in 2007 from University of Massachusetts, Boston. She went on to earn her prestigious medical degree with Honors in 2012 from the American University of Antigua College of Medicine. She completed her Internal Medicine residency at McLaren Flint, Michigan. Dr. Muke has been in clinical practice since 2012.

In her spare time, Dr. Muke enjoys volunteering, cooking, basketball and soccer. Her passionate and holistic approach to patient care has led to her participation in many community outreach programs. Currently, she sits on the advisory board of The Iya Foundation, a non-profit organization that offers health education and medical assistance to thousands of renal patients in the USA, Nigeria, Ghana, Sierra Leone and her home country of Cameroon.

Dr. Muke and her husband, Paul, are proud parents of three lovely girls, Bella, Veronique and Paula.
